The kids have the day off Monday, February 16, so here are some ideas of fun things to do with your kiddos in Cleveland this President’s Day:
Busted! Myth Meets Science at the Great Lakes Science Center is a One-Day Presidents Day Camp for kids in grades K-8 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. You’ve heard the phrase, “Don’t try this at home!” So let’s try it at camp instead! The $62 registration fee ($57 for members) includes admission to MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition. $62 Register online or call 216-621-2400.
Fun Day Monday : Presidents Day at the Lake Metroparks Penitentiary Glen has FREE winter-themed activities from 10 am to 4 pm for all ages and NO registration is required.
Fairytales and Frogs at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo from 10 am – 1 pm. Free admission for children 12 and under to the zoo and rainforest with paid adult admission.
Free Admission to the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage from 11 am to 5 pm.
Craft Extravaganza at the Smead Discovery Center at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History from 10 am to 4 pm – included with paid admission to the museum.
The Rink at Wade Oval is open from 12 noon to 7 pm. $2 to skate and $3 for skate rentals
James A Garfield Visitor Center has fun for kids on Presidents Day from 10 am to 3 pm. The Visitor Center is open only. The home is temporarily closed.
